Gal Einav is an Israeli sailor preparing for a 2027 campaign in ILCA 6 and ILCA 7, combining youth championships with a move into U21 and senior competition. He trains approximately five times a week, alongside national-team and international training camps.
At the 2024 ILCA 4 Youth World Championships, Gal finished fifth in the under-16 category and 18th overall. At the 2026 ILCA 6 Youth Europeans, he placed 15th in the European Championship standings and 18th in the Open European Trophy.
Gal owns an ILCA 7 and is seeking support for international competition, including travel, charter boats, accommodation, coaching, sails and racing equipment.
His planned 2027 season includes the U21 Worlds in Australia, Youth Europeans in France, Youth Worlds in Greece and U21 Europeans in Greece. He also hopes to compete at the World Sailing Youth Worlds in the Canary Islands, subject to selection. Gal’s goal is to develop the experience and consistency needed to become a leading international sailor.
