The Skiff Sailing Foundation hosts a semi-annual Sail a Skiff Day to provide access to the Foundation's fleet. Often held at the Richmond Yacht Club or Crissy Field in San Francisco, local sailors can enjoy sailing an 18 Footer, 49er or 29er with the comfort of experienced sailors in the boat or at hand. Many local high school students have attended past Sail a Skiff Days, happy to step out of their FJs or 420s and get up to speed in a skiff.
